Urgent Care Health problems can arise unexpectedly and they're not always at the most convenient time. That's why Gundersen Boscobel Area Hospital and Clinics offers Urgent Care (sometimes called Walk-In Care) seven days a week. Urgent Care is designed to provide access to medical care during the hours your primary care clinic is closed. No appointment is necessary. Urgent Care Hours: Weekdays: 6 to 8 a.m. and 5 to 9 p.m. Weekends and Holidays: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Urgent Care services are appropriate for: Cuts, scrapes, bruises Skin rashes Colds, flu Insect bites Fever Sore throat Back pain Sprains Urinary burning Emergency Services or Urgent Care It can be difficult to determine whether you need treatment in Urgent Care or the Emergency Room. Medical staff will talk to you about your symptoms and direct you to the appropriate level of care.
